No Fracking Canterbury

If you haven't already heard about it, wherever you live, then you need to read this.
If it is happening in your area, you need to sit up and take notice even faster.
Canterbury's turn is now.

  1. Here is a good graphical demonstration of what fracking does:

  2. Timely post - I have just become aware of this and the implications!
BTW we are heading down to Chch this weekend for a week, our first visit south since the big event earlier this year. Our red zone relatives are now just shifting into a new (to them) home, so all is well with them. But its been an emotional journey for them.

  3. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I am shocked. I copied the letter into my email and sent it. Will see what I can do on my blog

  4. This is very troubling. Everyone has been launched on a steep learning curve as a result of the earthquakes. We have to see the connections between many different kinds of activity.

  5. The way we are treating our environment experimentally is truly scary and, in any other circumstances where such profit was not to be gained then it would be banned as irresponsible.

Comments welcome....always love to hear what you think!
